The official name for a herbal tea is a tisane however herbal tea is most commonly used. Dating back to Ancient Egypt and Ancient China, herbal tea has been used for hundreds of years for health benefits and great tastes. Resulting from an increased health awareness of consumers, drinking herbal and fruit infusions started to boom in the 1980’s.


Herbs are naturally caffeine free but a herb such as peppermint has a natural stimulating effect just by the smell alone.
